1. Eligibility

You may use Quartz Math Academy only if you:

2. Accounts and Registration

Student Accounts: For learners seeking tutoring.
Tutor Accounts: For verified tutors offering instruction.
Parent Accounts (optional): May be linked to a student account for oversight.

3. Use of Services

By using our Services, you agree:

Not to misuse or interfere with the integrity or performance of the platform.
Not to engage in any form of harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior.
Not to use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access our Services.
Not to post or share unlawful, misleading, harmful, or infringing content.

We reserve the right to monitor user activity and remove any content or suspend access at our sole discretion.

4. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors must:

Accurately represent their qualifications and experience.
Deliver high-quality and respectful tutoring sessions.
Set fair and transparent pricing.
Abide by all applicable laws and academic honesty standards.

Violation may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

5. Payment and Commission

Quartz Math Academy facilitates payments through a secure third-party processor. Tutors set their own hourly rates. We take a 15% commission on each transaction to support platform operations, development, and support.

Payments to tutors are made on a scheduled basis (e.g., weekly or bi-weekly).
Refunds are granted at our discretion and may be issued in the event of fraud, tutor misconduct, or technical failures.
Users are responsible for any applicable taxes.

6. Intellectual Property and Content

All content provided by Quartz Math Academy (e.g., branding, logos, site design) is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reuse, modify, or redistribute our content without permission.

Tutors retain ownership of original educational materials but grant Quartz Math Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote these materials within the platform.

7. User Behavior and Safety

You are expected to act respectfully toward other users. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

Hate speech or discrimination;
Academic dishonesty (e.g., doing someone else’s homework);
Sharing false information or impersonating others;
Inappropriate or abusive communication during sessions.

Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent account termination.

8. Termination of Use

Quartz Math Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account for:

Breach of these Terms;
Fraudulent activity;
Extended inactivity;
Any conduct that could harm the reputation of Quartz Math Academy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Quartz Math Academy is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Services.
We do not guarantee results or improvements from tutoring sessions.
We are not liable for third-party actions, including those of tutors, students, or payment processors.

You use our Services at your own risk.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify users via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state or country in which Quartz Math Academy operates. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with those laws.
